PixelYou

I created PixelYou as a weekend business after I broke my leg and found myself with extra time. This venture allowed me to focus on something productive while helping people I know get affordable, professional websites. PixelYou is my personal project, where I dedicate my weekends to designing and developing websites for friends, family, and small businesses in my network.

Even though PixelYou operates on weekends, I ensure each project receives my full attention. I take pride in delivering high-quality websites that are customized to meet the unique needs of each client, all while keeping the process simple and affordable. My focus is on creating user-friendly, responsive websites that work seamlessly on all devices.

I use tools like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and platforms such as WordPress and Elementor to build functional, visually appealing websites. My commitment to quality means I treat every project with the same dedication as I would a full-time business, despite the fact that it runs only during my weekends.

During the pandemic, I co-founded Intrepide, a support group designed to help young people navigate the challenges of that time. What started as a small project among six friends quickly grew into a community of nearly 200 people by the end.

The idea was born out of a shared feeling of isolation and uncertainty during the lockdowns. My friends and I wanted to create a space where young adults like us could find a place to connect with others facing similar struggles, and have an outlet to share their experiences. Together, we organized virtual meetups, workshops, and discussions that encouraged personal growth and emotional well-being.

Seeing the group expand so rapidly was incredibly rewarding—it showed how much people needed a space like this. Intrepide brought together individuals who might not have found support elsewhere, creating a sense of belonging and solidarity during one of the most difficult times in recent history.

Dragonica

When I was 15, I started making Dragonica just because I enjoyed using RPG Maker. I was just having fun with the tools and seeing what I could do. I designed the levels, worked on the gameplay, and put together a story—all things I thought were cool at the time. But then, I got this idea: What if I could play this on my PSP? My favorite console at the time.

So, I got to thinking, and after a bit of research, I figured I could learn Lua and try to port the whole thing. I had no experience with coding in Lua at the time, but I thought, “Why not give it a shot?” That curiosity led me down a rabbit hole of coding, debugging, and trial and error. It wasn’t easy, and it definitely wasn’t quick.

Eventually, after spending the whole winter holidays experimenting, I got Dragonica running on the PSP. Once I had it working, I uploaded it to homebrew forums, and it ended up getting over 4,000 downloads.

The game was eventually picked up and published on the front page of the now-defunct PSPGen.fr

I’ve worked on editing two notable books (a third is on the pipeline) that showcase different aspects of classic literature: a compilation of short stories and a reimagined edition of a beloved novel.

Pride And Prejudice (editor)

I re-edited Jane Austen’s classic novel to improve its readability. This edition maintains the original story while making it more accessible to modern readers. The book has been popular through various adaptations, including the 1995 BBC series and the 2005 film with Keira Knightley.

Short Stories From The Greatest (author, editor)

In this comprehensive anthology, I curated a collection of short stories from renowned literary masters including Edgar Allan Poe, Mark Twain, Charles Dickens, and Nathaniel Hawthorne. The project involved carefully selecting and compiling works from ten acclaimed authors, creating a volume that showcases exceptional literary works spanning different periods and writing styles. By bringing together these diverse voices, I sought to provide readers with a rich, immersive literary experience that celebrates the depth and breadth of classic short storytelling.
